Vreeland staff, clients and friends pulled out boots, jeans — and all the stops — to hear Brooks & Dunn perform at the Comcast Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts. Kix Brooks is Midge’s brother. He and Ronnie Dunn have been riding high for 20 years as one of the all-time top duos in country music. Now they’re on their Last Rodeo Tour, and hitting the hottest spots in North America for country fans.
After a cushy bus ride, great snacks and Kix on CD, we hit the spectacular outdoor venue where a sell-out crowd rocked to hits like “You’re Gonna Miss Me When I’m Gone,” “Red Dirt Road,” and “Boot Scootin’ Boogie.” Kix even sent a shout-out to his sister and her 100 Maine-iac friends. It was our 30 seconds of fame. And we loved every minute of it.
Thanks, Midge and Stew, for a great time. And Stew…really nice Stetson.
