Sit. Play. Yum.

How do you treat a 6-year old and her friends to a (bow)-wow of a birthday party? You make it all about kids’ best friend—puppies, of course. Vreeland’s Senior Art Director Rebecca Morse designed a doghouse playhouse for the kids to tumble in and out of. Child friendly and cheerful, it was made from a huge cardboard carton and brightly painted, like something in a nursery rhyme. Rebecca also baked puppy cupcakes. Each one made unique with Nutter Butter ears, Nilla Wafer snouts, marshmallow eyes, M&M noses and lots of love.

And there’s more to the…tale. Rebecca made goodie bags that looked like a cartoon pet store and filled them with soft cuddly toys and lots of treats — bandanas, dog collar bracelets, mini Frisbees and tennis balls.

All this while Rebecca and her family were moving into a new home that they designed while also serving as general contractors. Us? We just wag our heads.
