Jessica Gilman's experience and training allows her to bring a unique skill set to the Vreeland team. In her PR role, Jessica researches and identifies editorial opportunities throughout the U.S. and Canada, corresponds with travel writers to provide press kits and photos, and coordinates FAM visits. She also writes and distributes press releases and tracks PR-earned media results. Jessica is an active member of the Maine Public Relations Council and has played an important role in the many Golden Arrow Awards the Vreeland PR Team has been awarded by this organization.
As a talented designer and production artist, she uses her knowledge of the latest graphic design technology and practices to create direct mail pieces, newspaper and magazine ads, print collateral materials and design graphics for special-order items for trade shows and events.
Jessica received her B.A. from the University of New Hampshire and holds a Computer Graphics and Web Design certificate from Bridge Education, in conjunction with Thomas College. Previously, she worked with the Center for Cultural Exchange to promote performing arts in greater Portland.
As new homeowners, Jessica and her husband spend their downtime grilling on their back porch and learning how to garden. Another favorite pastime is fishing at their family’s camp in northern Maine.
