As Senior Account Executive, Virginia develops and implements marketing strategies and manages day-to-day account services through collaboration with clients and the Vreeland in-house creative team. She has been involved in marketing energy efficiency programs for clients including Efficiency Maine and ERS/Energy & Resource Solutions.
As Outreach Coordinator for the Efficiency Maine Business Program, she cultivated relationships between Efficiency Maine and 100 business associations and allies across the state and created a network of program recommenders among the associations’ business constituents. Her outreach efforts included publicity in association publications, presentations and direct mail marketing to association memberships, and participation in association events.
With 20 years of marketing experience and a focus on marketing communications, project management, copy writing/editing and design and production, Virginia’s ability to initiate and manage multiple projects from conception to completion consistently produces high-quality results on time and within budget.
Prior to joining Vreeland, Virginia served as a marketing consultant for a broad range of businesses and industries, including legal and medical marketing. She has also held senior marketing positions at companies including Sebago Inc., TD Banknorth, Pioneer Plastics and Mead Paper.
Virginia earned her B.S. in Business Administration with a Marketing concentration from Bryant College in Rhode Island.
