Public relations is a key component in the strategic marketing plans for Vreeland's business clients. Lead PR strategist,
Linda Frechette, is well-known in Maine's PR community and draws on more than 20 years of experience to advise our clients. During her adventurous career she has fed state-of-the-art frozen lobster to Julia Child (who couldn't tell it from fresh), volunteered in the International Press Center during the Centennial Olympics in Atlanta, and worked in the Joint Command Center during the largest oil spill ever in Casco Bay. In addition to providing public relations expertise to Vreeland, Linda also works with a diverse clientele through the independent practice she established in 1994.
A Past President of the Maine Public Relations Council, a statewide professional association, Linda has won numerous first place awards for Media Relations from the Council. In 2001, she was honored with the prestigious Edward L. Bernays Achievement Award for outstanding contributions to the public relations profession.
