Michael brings unique perspective to the position of Art Director here at Vreeland, both in design know how and client services experience.
Tell us a little bit more about that.
Well, as a designer my work is all about perspective – whether I’m designing an info graphic for a website, a new brand identity or a vehicle wrap sign – it’s all about proportion, depth, dimensionality and making a creative impact.
What about on the client side?
Because I have worked in both corporate and agency environments – and I’ve also done freelance design – I’ve had the opportunity to experience design and marketing from all three points of view. And that helps me create concepts that are engaging and that connect with target audiences.
You’ve done work for some big-name brands?
I’ve been fortunate to work with a variety of clients, both local and national, including IBM, Adobe, Baskin-Robbins, W.R. Grace and Northeastern University.
Michael graduated from Plymouth State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I’m a huge Patriots football fan. I’m addicted to CrossFit, and love spending time with my family. I also love to cook and play the occasional game of “Chopped” in the kitchen with my daughters.
